ExposNation Organizes Morning ‘Pitch and Catch Rally & Exhibition Game in support of Parc Jeanne Mance Baseball

Event aims to show support for baseball and displeasure for the wrongful elimination of a field

Montreal, Quebec, July 9, 2018 – ExposNation, a grassroots organization run by a committee of volunteers, today announced a Montreal event for July 14, aimed at promoting baseball in the city and support for Plateau baseball/softball players who had a field suddenly removed. Supporters of the baseball in Montreal and Quebec are being encouraged to come to the remaining baseball fields at Parc Jeanne Mance at 9:30AM. At 10:30AM there will be an exhibition game between ExposNation and local players.

In association with Baseball Quebec de Montreal and PJM Softball, many prominent baseball figures are expected to attend, including Rodger Brulotte, Marc Griffin, Derek Aucoin and Renaud Lafort of 4 Chevaliers. Other notables include hip hop artist Annakin Slayd, media personalities and many well-known figures.. Baseball Quebec de Montreal, Lac Saint-Louis region is expected to have several teams participate in the event. Moreover, there will be a kids zone (games, face-paint, etc.).

“This event will be both a love-in for baseball and a statement to the borough and city that interest in baseball is on the rise. Now is not the time to eliminate baseball fields,” said Matthew Ross, ExposNation Founder and Chairman.
