Rheal Cormier, the Canadian former Montreal Expos pitcher who spent 16 seasons in Major League Baseball, has passed away. He was 53. Cormier was born in 1967 in Moncton, N.B. and was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the sixth round of the 1988 MLB Amateur Draft. Due to the COVID-19 MLB has suspended Spring Training and Evenko has canceled the Exhibition Games that were to be played in Montreal March 23rd and 24th.
