ExposNation launches campaign to find the 5 greatest moments in Expos history

Montreal, March 4th, 2014 – ExposNation, a non-profit corporation with a mission to continue to promote Montreal as a viable Major League Baseball city, today announced the launch of a campaign to find the five greatest moments in Montreal Expos franchise history. Currently narrowed down to 20 of the team’s greatest moments from 1969 until 2004, Expos fans are being asked to vote for their own top five favourite moments.

“We continually look for ways to promote the rich history of the Montreal Expos. What better way to keep the team’s memory alive than to let the fans decide on the definitive top five franchise moments,” said Matthew Ross, Chairman and Founder of ExposNation.

From now until April 1, 2014, fans are asked to visit the Top Expos Moments page on exposnation.com. Visitors are asked to select their five favourite moments on the page and can vote once every 24 hours.
From the first home game at Jarry Park in 1969 to the 1982 All-Star Game at Olympic Stadium, from the Dennis Martinez perfect game in 1991 to the 2003 comeback from an 8-0 deficit against the Phillies, the 20 moments to choose from were selected by an ExposNation committee.
