Did you Know?

The Montreal Expos were named after the 1967 Universal Exposition of Montreal (Terre des Hommes). The colors of the team are blue, white and red, symbolizing the French origins of the city of Montreal.

The 1994 Expos honored in New York

It was a true honour to be at the same table as the 94 Expos, which included All Stars Marquis Grissom, Wil Cordero, GM Kevin Malone & Mark Routtenberg (former Expos minority owner), and to watch them go up and accept the “Casey Stengel Award” from Le Grand Orange on behalf of the BBWAA.

It was great to see a team that meant so much to us finally acknowledged in front of so many of the games greats (Sandy Koufax, Hank Aaron, Joe Torre, Tony LaRussa, Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettite, Miguel Cabrera, Clayton Kershaw, Roger Angell were all there). I took some video and some pics for the rest of ExposNation to get a glimpse.
