Did you Know?

April 14, 1969, the Montreal Expos started their local season at Parc Jarry against the Saint-Louis, Cards. This was an historic day for the Major league of Baseball because it was the first game played outside the USA.

The 1994 Expos honored in New York

It was a true honour to be at the same table as the 94 Expos, which included All Stars Marquis Grissom, Wil Cordero, GM Kevin Malone & Mark Routtenberg (former Expos minority owner), and to watch them go up and accept the “Casey Stengel Award” from Le Grand Orange on behalf of the BBWAA.

It was great to see a team that meant so much to us finally acknowledged in front of so many of the games greats (Sandy Koufax, Hank Aaron, Joe Torre, Tony LaRussa, Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettite, Miguel Cabrera, Clayton Kershaw, Roger Angell were all there). I took some video and some pics for the rest of ExposNation to get a glimpse.
